This is an engraved inlay I did a while back as a practice piece.
I copied it from a Peruvian classical guitar that was at least a hundred years old.
I just found it in a drawer (thought I had lost it)
Overe the years I have inlayed this fish on different parts of my guitars.

Brad, that looks like the famous Peruvian Walking Fish. When they get tired of one pond, they just walk to a new one. Cool, regardless.

Nice! looks like a Koi to me,

Brad, are you using a Dremmel with the fine downcut bits or what?

Mike,
I have always used a carbide tip scribe to do the engraving.

Brad, Nice work.
It seems that everyone's inlays are getting a bit "fishy" these days.

Nice work Brad!

A carbide tip scribe is really the way to go as it is so much easier to control especially when doing detail work like "eyes"
